Alan grew up in Armonk, New York and London, England and is a 1999 graduate of Rutgers School of Law and also attended the The New England School of Law in Boston with Honors.

Alan maintains many business relationships and current clients in New York and is active in providing efficient and economic legal advice to individuals and entities in the New York metropolitan area, Westchester County, as well as further upstate. After gaining bar admissions in New York in 2000, Alan established Feldman / Wertz in Aspen, Pitkin County, Colorado while maintaining his active presence in New York. Alan has appeared in the Colorado courts of Pitkin County, Garfield County, Eagle County, Summit County and the City of Denver and also Federal courts in Denver as well as the Southern District of New York.
In addition to courtroom litigation, Alan has successfully arbitrated and mediated in forums in Aspen, Pitkin County, Denver, Summit County, Eagle County, Garfield County and Westchester County, New York. He keeps current with the Colorado Bar Association, New York Bar Association, Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and Pitkin County Bar Association. His principal Bar Admissions are in New York, Colorado, U.S. District Court – District of Colorado and the U.S. District Court – Southern District of New York.
